Senegal has no plans to nationalize Yakaar-Teranga gas field, energy ministry says

DAKAR, Dec 11 (Reuters) - Senegal's oil and gas strategy does not include nationalising the Yakaar-Teranga gas field, in which U.S. oil and gas company Kosmos Energy KOS.N holds a 90% stake, the country's energy ministry said on Thursday. "Kosmos remains a strategic partner of Senegal and has played a decisive role in the development of the national oil and gas sector," the ministry's statement said.
