** Shares of Kothari Petrochemicals  KPOC.NS  up as much as
13% at 71.75 rupees, their highest since Jan. 3
    ** Co reports sharpest intraday gain since Dec. 6
    ** Chemicals manufacturer on Tuesday reported a 49% YoY jump
in profit for the quarter that ended Dec. 31 to 134.8 million
rupees  ($1.63 million)
    ** Revenue from ops grew 34% YoY to 1.42 billion rupees
    ** More than 115,340 shares traded, as of 2:31 a.m. IST,
3.2x 30-day average
    ** Stock gained 7.7% last year, on track for third
consecutive year of gains
