Kromek Group rises on new contract in Asia

** Shares of UK-based radiation equipment maker Kromek Group
Plc KMK.L up about 3.6% at 5.7 pence
** Co announces contract worth $1.5 mln by group's
distribution partner in Asia to supply three new end customers
** Contract for a new product, with development of the
product being funded by group's distribution partner
** Says new product is designed for civil nuclear
applications, including detection, identification & analysis of
radiological sources
** Says contract is to be delivered over the next 15 months
** Stock down about 49.5% YTD
