Oct 23 (Reuters) - Swiss logistics group Kuehne+Nagel KNIN.S reported a 34% drop in its third-quarter operating profit on Thursday, citing a challenging market environment marked by overcapacity and margin pressures.
Its earnings before interest and taxes fell to 285 million Swiss francs ($359 million) in the third quarter, from 455 million a year earlier.
K+N also said it was launching a cost reduction programme of more than 200 million francs to cope with the tough market conditions.
