Kong-listed oil shares, falling 5.4% to HK$20.1 to the lowest
since Aug 22, as oil prices struggled near their lowest level in
months
** CNOOC stock on track for the biggest one-day pct drop
since Aug 5; top pct loser in Hang Seng Index .HSI and in Hang
Seng China Enterprises Index .HSCE , which both fall 1.5%
** Oil prices fell on Wednesday, extending the previous
day's more than 4% plunge, on expectations the political dispute
that has halted Libyan exports may be resolved and concerns over
lower global demand growth
** Hong Kong stocks PetroChina 0857.HK and Sinopec
0386.HK fall 4.8% and 3.2% respectively
** Shanghai shares of CNOOC 600938.SS , PetroChina
601857.SS and Sinopec 600028.SS fall between 1.6% and 4.7%
** In Hong Kong, Hang Seng Mainland Oil & Gas Index
.HSMOGI drops 4.1%; In China, CSI Energy Index .CSIEN falls
2.4%
