S.Korea buys 1,000 T of zinc for January arrival

SEOUL, Nov 8 (Reuters) - South Korea bought 1,000 tonnes of 
zinc for arrival in January via a tender that closed on Tuesday, 
state-run Public Procurement Service said on its website (http://www.g2b.go.kr). 
     
    Details of the purchase are as follows: 
 
    TONNES(M/T)    ORIGIN        SUPPLIER      PREMIUM/T 
          1,000    South Korea   Young Poong   $172 
     
    *Note: The above premiums were made over London Metal 
Exchange (LME) prices. The metal products should arrive by Jan. 
12 at the port of Incheon.
