** Shares of drug developer YS Biopharma  YS.O  rise 2.3% to
$4.9 premarket
    ** Co, citing interim data from a mid-stage study, says its
experimental COVID-19 vaccine showed significantly higher immune
response compared to  inactivated COVID-19 vaccine
    ** The candidate, PIKA recombinant COVID-19 Vaccine, uses
co's proprietary PIKA adjuvant capable of accelerated immune
responses -YS
    ** The recombinant vaccine also demonstrated ability to
elicit an early immune response with significantly higher
neutralizing antibodies against Omicron virus - YS  
    ** Up to Friday's close, stock had fallen ~51% in the past
12 months
