The technology-heavy Nasdaq rose on Wednesday on strong earnings from
Google-parent Alphabet, as investors turned to the Federal Reserve to gauge the
impact of rising inflation and the Delta variant on its monetary stimulus. .N 
    At 12:14 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.19% at
34,993.65. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.07% at 4,404.54 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.71% at 14,764.16.
