U.S. stock index futures edged down on the final trading day of a roller-coaster
year marked by aggressive monetary policy tightening by the Federal Reserve, the
Russia-Ukraine war and fears of an impending recession.  .N 
    At 7:03 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.33% at 33,264. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were down 0.40% at 3,856.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were
down 0.48% at 10,979.5.
