Wall Street's main indexes were poised to open higher on Friday, as investors
kept a close eye on upcoming economic data and geared up for potential policy
shifts under the incoming Trump administration.  .N

42,716.93. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.18% at 5,937.64, and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.58% at 19,584.47.
