** Shares of Australian lithium explorer Latin Resources Ltd
 LRS.AX  jump as much as 11.4% to A$0.123, on track for their
biggest pct gain since Jan. 17 
    ** Co expands Salinas lithium project tenure in Brazil by
securing new tenements in the region 
    ** Shares hit highest level since Jan. 30 
    ** More than 6.9 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of ~5.9 mln shares  
    ** Stock up 12.2% this year, as of last close, vs a 6.6%
increase in the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index  .AXJO
