RIGA, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Russia's Gazprom has injected no
gas into Latvia's underground Incukalns gas storage so far this
season, leaving it half-empty, the operator of the facility said
on Friday.
"They (Gazprom) haven't booked capacity for new injections
this season," Zane Kotane, a board member at Latvijas Gaze
GZE1R.RI , told Reuters.
The company's website showed the 2.3 billion cubic metres
(bcm) capacity gas storage was 49.2 percent filled as of Sept.
1, while the injection season normally last until October.
Incukalns re-exported 407 million cubic metres of gas to
Russia in 2015, down from 626 mcm in 2014, Latvijas Gaze said in
its annual report for 2015.
