LAVA surges on Merck partnership for prostrate cancer treatment

** Shares of LAVA Therapeutics N.V.  LVTX.O  rise ~34.6% to
$2.10 premarket, its highest since June
    ** Co says it will evaluate its LAVA-1207 therapy in
combination with Merck's  MRK.N  Keytruda for treatment of a
type of prostrate cancer
    ** Says Merck will provide co with Keytruda for an
early-stage trial expected to be initiated in H1 of 2024
    ** Up to last close, stock was down 53.4% in the last 12
months
