Windtree surges on licensing deal for lung disease therapy

** Windtree Therapeutics Inc's shares  WINT.O  rise ~68% to
77 cents in early morning trade, among biggest gainers across
U.S. stock exchanges 
    ** Co says it entered into a global licensing agreement with
Lee's Pharmaceutical Holdings Ltd  0950.HK  and its affiliate
Zhaoke Pharmaceutical for developing and commercializing its

    ** WINT's Aerosurf combo therapy, which delivers KL4
surfactant, is being studied for treatment of infants with
respiratory distress syndrome
    ** Respiratory distress syndrome often occurs in infants
with non-fully developed lungs, which causes low blood oxygen
levels
    ** Under the terms of agreement, WINT will eventually
receive commercial sales of up to $78.9 mln and potential
double-digit royalties
    ** As of last close, stock down ~71% YTD
