Legal & General completes £200m share buyback programme

Legal & General Group Plc (the 'Company') announces that it has
successfully completed its share buyback programme (the 'Programme') which was
notified to the market on 12 June 2024.

 

As a result of the Programme, the Company acquired 88,835,417 ordinary shares
at an average price of 225.14 pence per share for a total consideration of
£199,999,998.25.

 

As at close of business on 8 November 2024, the Company had 5,895,311,386
ordinary shares in issue, 2,419,401 of which are pending cancellation under
the Programme. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury and
therefore, net of ordinary shares pending cancellation, the Company's total
number of ordinary shares in issue and total voting rights is 5,892,891,985.
