Legal & General Group Plc (the "Company") reported in its Annual Report & Accounts 2015 published on 15 March 2016 that Stuart Popham had indicated his intention to step down from the Board prior to the 2017 AGM. The Company today announces that Stuart will be retiring from the Board on 31 December 2016.
Rudy Markham, Interim Chairman, said:
"Stuart has been a much valued member of the Board for over five years. Both John Stewart and I have greatly appreciated his advice and wisdom during this period. On behalf of the Board I would like to thank him for his service and wish him well for the future."
