In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14(2), the Company announces that Philip Broadley, a non-executive director of Legal & General Group Plc, will be proposed for election as a non-executive of AstraZeneca PLC at its annual general meeting on 27 April 2017. On election, it is proposed that Philip will also be appointed as a member of AstraZeneca PLC's Audit Committee.
