Redemption of £400,000,000 5.875 per cent. Fixed Rate Undated Reset Subordinated Notes (the "Notes") issued by Legal & General Group Plc
Legal & General Group Plc has today given notice in accordance with Condition 6(d) of the Terms and Conditions of the Notes that, on 1 April 2019, it will redeem the Notes at the redemption price of the principal amount per Note, together with accrued but unpaid interest payable thereon up to but excluding 1 April 2019 (in an amount equal to £29.38 per £1,000 nominal amount).  Following such redemption, there will be no Notes outstanding.
Legal & General Group Plc has applied to the Financial Conduct Authority, in its capacity as the United Kingdom Listing Authority, to cancel the listing of the Notes on the Official List of the United Kingdom Listing Authority, with effect from (and including) 1 April 2019.
