Total Voting Rights 
Legal & General Group Plc (the "Company") announces, in compliance with its obligations under Rules 5.6.1R and 5.6.2G of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, that:
As at 31 August 2014:
 the Company's capital consisted of 5,938,676,497 Ordinary shares of 2.5p each, with voting rights;
 the Company does not hold any shares in Treasury; and
 the total number of voting rights in the Company is 5,938,676,497.
The above figure of 5,938,676,497 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of their interest in, the Company under the FCA Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
