Legrand rises as DB upgrades to 'buy' on growth dynamics
BUZZ-Legrand rises as DB upgrades to 'buy' on growth dynamics ** Shares in Legrand LEGD.PA rise 2.7% after Deutsche Bank upgrades to "buy" from "hold", saying the French electrical infrastructure group's organic growth dynamics are stronger than ever
** DB cites Legrand's positioning, calling it a "giant in niches", as well as its strong pricing power, high and steady margins and "best-in-class" free cash flow generation
** The brokerage adds the firm is well-positioned to leverage the trend towards mass electrification, growing demand for energy efficiency and AI infrastructure expansion
** It says the loss of Legrand's historical 20% price-to-earnings ratio premium compared to the sector average is unjustified given its robust growth dynamics
** DB also raises its PT by nearly 7% to €160 ($186), expecting the stock to re-rate as the European Union residential market gradually recovers over the next year
** Stock among top risers on France's blue-chip CAC 40 Index .FCHI
