** Shares of drug developer Athira Pharma  ATHA.O  nosedives
~73% to 76 cents premarket
    ** Co says its drug failed to meet the main goal in a
mid-to-late stage trial in patients with mild-to-moderate
Alzheimer's disease
    ** Says the fosgonimeton drug did not reach statistical
significance, compared to placebo, in a test that measures
cognition and other functions after 26 weeks
    ** Up to last close, stock up 16.5% YTD
