The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 bounced back on Thursday, boosted by a recovery in
megacaps, as an upbeat forecast from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing lifted
chip stocks after a sharp sell-off in the previous session. .N
At 12:31 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.80% at
40,869.31. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.68% at 5,550.42 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was down 0.90% at 17,834.719.
