PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 2Q 2020
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
 
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the second quarter of 2020 as follows.
 
In the second quarter of 2020, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 12,834.0 billion (as compared to KRW 14,727.8 billion in 2020.1Q and KRW 15,629.2 billion in 2019.2Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 12.9% (QoQ -12.9%) and a year-on-year decrease of 17.9% (YoY -17.9%).
 
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 493.1 billion (as compared to KRW 1,090.4 billion in 2020.1Q and KRW 652.3 billion in 2019.2Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 54.8% (QoQ -54.8%) and a year-on-year decrease of 24.4% (YoY -24.4%).
