PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 1Q 2017
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the first quarter of 2017 as follows.
In the first quarter of 2017, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 14,660.5 billion (as compared to KRW 14,777.8 billion in 2016.4Q and KRW 13,362.1 billion in 2016.1Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 0.8% (QoQ -0.8%) and a year-on-year increase of 9.7%
(YoY 9.7%). 
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 921.5 billion (as compared to KRW -35.2 billion in 2016.4Q and KRW 505.2 billion in 2016.1Q), representing a year-on-year increase of 82.4% (YoY 82.4%).
