PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 2Q 2017
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the second quarter of 2017 as follows.
In the second quarter of 2017, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 14,555.2 billion (as compared to KRW 14,657.2 billion in 2017.1Q and KRW 14,002.9 billion in 2016.2Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 0.7% (QoQ -0.7%) and a year-on-year increase of 3.9% (YoY 3.9%). 
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 664.1 billion (as compared to KRW 921.5 billion in 2017.1Q and KRW 584.6 billion in 2016.2Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 27.9% (QoQ -27.9%) and a year-on-year increase of 13.6% (YoY 13.6%).
