PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 4Q 2018
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
 
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the fourth quarter of 2018 as follows.
 
In the fourth quarter of 2018, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 15,770.5billion (as compared to KRW 15,427.0billion in 2018.3Q and KRW 16,963.6billion in 2017.4Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 2.2% (QoQ 2.2%) and a year-on-year decrease of 7.0% (YoY -7.0%).
 
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 75.3billion (as compared to KRW 748.8billion in 2018.3Q and KRW 366.8billion in 2017.4Q), representing quarter-on-quarter decrease of 89.9% (QoQ -89.9%) and a year-on-year decrease of 79.5% (YoY -79.5%).
