PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 4Q 2019
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
 
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the fourth quarter of 2019 as follows.
 
In the fourth quarter of 2019, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 16,061.0 billion (as compared to KRW 15,700.7 billion in 2019.3Q and KRW 15.772.3 billion in 2018.4Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 2.3% (QoQ 2.3%) and a year-on-year increase of 1.8% (YoY 1.8%).
 
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 98.6 billion (as compared to KRW 781.4 billion in 2019.3Q and KRW 75.7 billion in 2018.4Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of -87.4% (QoQ -87.4%) and a year-on-year increase of 30.3% (YoY 30.3%).
