With the official closure of the LG Mobile Communications Company in the 2nd
quarter, the unit's earnings are not reflected in this quarter's earnings
report and are treated as discontinued operating losses. Earnings for the 3rd
quarter of 2021 and the 4th quarter of 2020 are also adjusted to reflect this
change.
