(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
 
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the first quarter of 2018 as follows.
 
In the first quarter of 2018, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 15,128.3 billion (as compared to KRW 16,963.6 billion in 2017.4Q and KRW 14,657.2 billion in 2017.1Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 10.8% (QoQ -10.8%) and a year-on-year increase of 3.2%

(YoY 3.2%).
 
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 1,107.8 billion (as compared to KRW 366.8 billion in 2017.4Q and KRW 921.5 billion in 2017.1Q), representing quarter-on-quarter increase of 202.0% (QoQ 202.0%) and a year-on-year increase of 20.2% (YoY 20.2%).
