BERLIN, May 8 (Reuters) - Swiss engineering and
technology group ABB ABBN.S on Monday announced a joint
venture with energy firms Lhyfe and Skyborn to launch a new
hydrogen production plant in Sweden.
The plant will be located in the municipality of Soderhamn
and connected to Skyborn's 1 GW offshore wind farm in nearby
Storgrundet, ABB said in a statement.
When fully operational, the site is expected to be one of
the largest suppliers of renewable hydrogen in Europe, expected
to produce about 240 tons of hydrogen per day, it added.
