quarter net profit rose 4% from the same period a year ago
thanks to an increase in lending income which was boosted by a

Iberdrola, through its Australian unit, has acquired the
rights to a wind power project of up to 1 gigawatt in
Queensland, Australia, Spanish newspaper El Economista reported
on Thursday. The Mt James wind farm was owned by the local
company North Queensland Renewable Energy Zone, it added.

Last week the company completed the sale of Amey Utility
Services, the division responsible for providing support to
utilities in Britain, Spanish economic newspaper Expansion
reported on Thursday. Investment fund Rubicon Partners bought
the unit, which reported revenues of 170 million pounds in 2020,
for an undisclosed amount.

Deutsche Bank bought a 1.2% stake in Metrovacesa acquiring
1.7 million shares, or 1.2% of the capital, in the midst of
Carlos Slim's takeover bid for the developer, Spanish economic
newspaper Expansion reported on Thursday.
