** Australian technology stocks .AXIJ rise 1.5% to 2,920.6 points, on track for their best day since June 10, if gains hold

** The sub-index tracks rally in Wall Street's tech-heavy Nasdaq .IXIC, which closed at a record high overnight

** Logistics software firm WiseTech Global WTC.AX rises 1.6% to A$112.65, its highest point since February 19

** Shares of accounting software maker Xero XRO.AX gain 1.6%

** ASX-listed shares of Life360 360.AX feature among top 10 gainers in the benchmark index .AXJO with a 2.7% jump

** YTD, AXIJ sub-index up nearly 5% vs AXJO up 5.5%
