UK's Life Science REIT jumps on British Land deal

** Shares of Life Science REIT LABS.L up 18.6% at 42p, tops FTSE smallcaps index .FTSC

** Shares highest since July 28, 2025

** British Land BLND.L to acquire Life Science in a deal that values the property trust at 150 million pounds ($206.91 million)

** For each Life Science share, shareholders will receive 14.1 pence in cash and 0.07 new British Land shares

** British Land down 0.5%

** In 2025, BLND rose ~12% and LABS gained ~3.7%
