** U.S. industrial lens maker's shares  LPTH.O  jump 16.7%
to $2.73 premarket after NASA confirms optical elements made by
its unit are supporting Mars exploration program 
    ** LPTH among the most traded Nasdaq-listed stocks, with
318,000 shares having exchanged hands
    ** Co says NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory recently
confirmed that optical elements manufactured by its unit, ISP
Optics, is supporting the Mars Curiosity Rover's efforts in
