** Shares of Lendlease LLC.AX rise as much as 2.1% to A$5.270, logging their biggest intraday pct gain since Nov. 11

** Hong Kong-listed Link Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) 0823.HK said on Wednesday it had submitted an offer to property giant Lendlease for acquisition of certain shopping centres in Australia

** Portfolio of shopping centres is worth about A$1.5 billion ($972.30 million), according to media reports

** Stock down 16% this year, including the day's move

($1 = 1.5427 Australian dollars)
