    ** Drug developer said U.S FDA has granted orphan drug
designation to company's lead product candidate, for the
treatment of a type of brain tumor 
    ** Orphan drug designation provides financial incentives to
support clinical development of drugs intended to treat a rare
disease or condition
    ** LSTA's drug is undergoing multiple early-to mid stage
studies 
    ** Up to Monday's close, stock had risen ~21% YTD
