** Co receives unsolicited acquisition bid from an investor
group led by Anson Funds Management LP
** The proposal is to acquire all shares of MEIP for a cash
consideration of not less than $8/shr, plus contingent value
right
** Anson Funds had a ~10% stake in MEIP as of May 19,
according to an SEC filing
** YTD, MEIP shares up 59%
