US Department of Energy takes 5% stake in Lithium Americas
Oct 1 (Reuters) - Vancouver-based Lithium Americas LAC.TO on Wednesday said that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has taken a 5% stake in the company, which will help it access the first $435 million from a previously announced $2.26 billion loan for the Thacker Pass lithium project.
