- Energy giant Cenovus Energy Inc CVE.TO will soon have a
new CEO, with current Chief Operating Officer Jon McKenzie set
to take the reins from Alex Pourbaix on April 26, the company
announced Thursday.
- Teck Resources Ltd TECKb.TO is exploring a spin-out of
its steelmaking coal division, or other ways to exit its largest
business, as part of a strategic shift to mining metals that
will power a greener economy.
- Justice Minister David Lametti has introduced legislation
to establish a new independent body for reviewing wrongful
convictions, which he says would make it faster and easier to
