April 24 (Reuters) - Australian miners with projects in
South America's lithium triangle which spans Chile, Argentina
and Bolivia, dipped on Monday, on concerns other governments in
that region may look to imitate Chile's move to nationalize its
vast lithium industry.
Last Thursday, Chile's President Gabriel Boric announced a
move that would see the world's second-largest lithium producer
shift to a model in which the state holds a controlling interest
in all projects through a public company that would partner with
mining firms.
Here is a list of lithium projects operated or owned by
Australian mining companies in South America:
Name of project Location Owner
Kachi Argentina Lake Resources LKE.AX
Olaroz Argentina Allkem Ltd AKE.AX
Rincon Lithium Argentina Rio Tinto RIO.L RIO.AX ,
Argosy Minerals AGY.AX
Hombre Muerto West Argentina Galan Lithium GLN.AX

Maricunga Chile Lithium Power International
