OCEAN RACE UPDATE

 

Live Company Group Plc are pleased to provide an update on the Ocean Race.

 

Live Company Sports and Entertainment (LCSE) have organized the Cape Town
stopover and visitors are currently being welcomed ready to see the leading
boats arrive in the city for their haul-out stop.

 

This Leg 2 of the Ocean Race will see the leading boats arrive on 13(th)
February at the V & A Waterfront until the leg 3 departure on Sunday,
February 26(th) when they set off for Itajai.

 

Ocean Live Park which showcases the race and the focusses on the protection
and restoration of the seas opened on 8(th) February and will run until 26(th)
February. The event also takes place at the Waterfront and includes fun
interactive exhibits, family events, live entertainment, water sports and
sailing.

 

 

The Ocean race organisers commented: "The Ocean Race is often described as the
longest and toughest professional sporting event in the world, sailing's
toughest team challenge and one of the sport's Big Three events, alongside the

The Ocean Race Cape Town Stopover

 

No other stopover city is as closely associated with The Ocean Race as Cape
Town South Africa, which has so far welcomed the around- the-world fleet in 11
of the race's 13 editions - far more than any other host port. The 2022-23
race marks the eighth consecutive time that Cape Town has hosted a stopover.

·    BRICKLIVE - consisting of a network of partner-driven fan-based and

Madrid and London. Both shows are produced in partnership with SBS - the
Korean television network.

 

·    StART Art Global (SAG) - SAG owns StART Art Fair in London which has
been staged over the last 9 years at the Saatchi Gallery. SAG has licensed the
rights to the StART brand in Korea. The licence includes the right to create
and run StART Art Fair Seoul and various StART+ exhibitions.

SAG has also licensed the right to the StART brand in Japan to Live Company
Japan a joint venture with M Group Holdings Co.

SAG has also licensed the brand to Live Company Korea to create the StART Art
Coin.

 

·    Live Company Sports and Entertainment (LCSE) - LCSE owns LCSE Pty in
South Africa which has a long-term relationship with Pick 'n' Pay and the
Ocean Race.

LCSE is a shareholder in E-Movement - the promoter of the Formula E Race in
Cape Town. As part of this relationship E-Movement has retained LCSE (through
E-Movement holdings) as its implementation partner. E-Movement Holdings a 100%
subsidiary of Live Company Group has the right to sell sponsorship for the
Formula E race in Cape Town.
