Live Nation jumps as it reportedly reaches antitrust settlement

Corrects 3rd bullet to say Politico reports, not Axios

** Live Nation Entertainment LYV.N shares gaining 9.3% to $170.06 premarket after reports co settles a U.S. antitrust lawsuit

** The settlement would reportedly avoid a forced sale of its Ticketmaster unit, a key demand of the lawsuit, but would include concessions on ticketing contracts and amphitheater use, according to Bloomberg News

** Politico reports deal with U.S. Justice Department requires LYV to pay roughly $200 mln in damages

** The DOJ and over two dozen states sued LYV in May 2024, alleging the co illegally inflated concert ticket prices and harmed artists, claims the co has called baseless

** Through Fri close, LYV shares up ~10% YTD, outperforming a 1.5% fall for the S&P 500 .SPX, and ~11% below their all-time intraday high of $175.25 from Sept 2025

** Avg rating of 26 analysts on the stock is "buy" with a median price target of $181.00, per LSEG data
