LOS ANGELES, May 18 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department on Monday said it had approved a possible $3 billion deal to sell helicopters to South Korea and a potential $1.2 billion upgrade program.
Lockheed Martin LMT.N is the principal contractor for the sale that would include 24 MH-60R multi-mission helicopters, according to the statement.
Boeing BA.N is the principal contractor for the upgrade program that would include radar electronic units and radios, among other equipment.
