Feb 27 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Friday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.3%.
* LSEG: Elliott Management called London Stock Exchange Group's LSEG.L share buyback, margin-improvement plans and improved communication on its AI strategy a "positive first start".
* SHELL: Kazakhstan's energy minister Erlan Akkenzhenov said that Shell SHEL.L has informed the ministry it will continue its development projects in Kazakhstan.
* IAG: IAG ICAG.L reported a better-than-expected annual profit as it benefited from lower fuel costs.
* PEARSON: Pearson PSON.L said it expected profit to increase by as much as 11%, at the top end of its range, in 2026.
* JUST GROUP: Just Group JUSTJ.L reported a 39% fall in annual underlying operating profit.
* HAYS: Hays HAYS.L said CEO Dirk Hahn is stepping down immediately for personal reasons.
* MELROSE: Melrose Industries MRON.L posted an 8% rise in 2025 revenue, lifted by robust after-market demand and continued strength in its engines unit.
* SENIOR: Senior SNR.L said it has received multiple takeover offers in recent months and is considering two of them.
* RIO TINTO: Chile's Codelco and miner Rio Tinto RIO.L, RIO.AX signed a memorandum of understanding to explore development and investment opportunities.
* CAR PRODUCTION: Britain's car production fell 8.2% to 65,249 units in January, as exports declined due to weak demand in key global markets, industry data showed.
* CONSUMER CONFIDENCE: British consumer confidence unexpectedly fell to a three-month low in February, as rising unemployment increased people's worries about their personal financial situation, survey showed.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices climbed, copper was poised to register a weekly gain, and gold was broadly steady.
