    ** Co posts wider Q1 net loss of 22 cents/share vs loss of
17 cents/share a year earlier 
    ** Total quarterly revenue fell to $279 mln, compared with
$370 mln a year earlier 
    ** Co reports cash and short-term investments of $13.7 mln
at March quarter end; says sufficient to cover expenses and
capital requirements for second quarter of 2024
    ** Shares up ~6% YTD
