Fragrance market growing at 5-6%, increasingly 'polarised', says L'Oreal PARIS, Sept 8 (Reuters) - The fragrance market is currently growing at about 5-6%, slower than previous years' double-digit rates, and polarised between affordable products such as 'mists' for younger consumers and high-end perfumes, L'Oreal OREP.PA Chief Financial Officer Christophe Babule told a Barclays consumer conference on Tuesday.
The French cosmetics giant recently launched a range of mists under its NYX brand to tap demand from Gen Z shoppers.
