The following factors could affect Italian markets on Tuesday.

ECONOMY
The risks to price stability in the euro zone are
diminishing, creating the conditions for the European Central
Bank to ease its monetary policy, governing council member Fabio
Panetta reiterated on Thursday.
Data
Italian EU-harmonised consumer prices(HICP) came in at a
preliminary 1.2% month-on-month in March, with annual inflation
accelerating to 1.3%, data showed on Friday.
March PMI manufacturing HCOB data (0745 GMT).
Transport Ministry releases March car sales data (1600 GMT).
March state sector borrowing requirement data.
COMPANIES
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
Activist investor fund Bluebell, as well as minority
shareholder Merlyn, have presented rival slates of candidates
for the renewal of the board, the Italian phone group said on
Saturday.
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
The U.S. Office of Defect Investigations (ODI) has opened a
preliminary evaluation of a failure of the K1 snap ring in
Chrysler-parent Stellantis' year 2022 RAM 3500, 4500, and 5500
trucks, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said
on Friday.
AZIMUT HOLDING AZMT.MI
Asset manager Azimut Holding set out plans on Thursday to
spin off part of its network of financial advisers and merge it
into a new digital bank, adding it was looking at outside
investors taking a stake of up to 50% in the new unit.
INTESA SANPAOLO ISP.MI
Intesa Sanpaolo on Thursday named Luca Bocca as its new
finance chief as part of a broader management reshuffle that CEO
Carlo Messina said will prepare Italy's biggest bank to face
future challenges.
BANCA MONTE DEI PASCHI DI SIENA BMPS.MI
The European Commission "takes note" of the sale of a
further 12.5% stake of the bailed-out bank by the Italian
government, and will continue to "closely monitor"
re-privatisation commitments, a spokesperson said.
BUZZI BZU.MI
Buzzi sees "downside risks" to its core earnings in 2024,
but expects to consolidate the unprecedented profits reported
for last year, the construction material manufacturer said on
Thursday.
INDUSTRIE DE NORA DNR.MI
The group last week inaugurated a new production facility in
Okayama, Japan, to strengthen its presence in the country and
consolidate its position as a leading global supplier of
electrolysers.
DOVALUE DOVA.MI
The former director general of the Italian Treasury,
Alessandro Rivera, will be proposed as chairman in the new slate
of board candidates for the bad loans manager, Il Messaggero
newspaper reported on Sunday.
TOD'S TOD.MI
The Della Valle family, majority shareholders of the luxury
group, have excluded scandal-tainted influencer and outgoing
board member Chiara Ferragni from their board renewal list,
presented on Thursday and due to be voted by shareholders on
April 24.
IREN IREE.MI
The Italian multi-utility said Saturday it signed a binding
agreement to buy a 50% stake in a NewCo at 85 million euros,
which will include the operational activities of EGEA Spa, EGEA
Commerciale Srl and EGEA Produzioni e Teleriscaldamento Srl.
Iren will have a four-year call option, exercisable as from
March 31, 2025, to buy the remaining 50% of the NewCo. Otherwise
Iren will be able to subscribe, from Jan. 1, 2025, to a reserved
capital increase of 42.5 million euros, raising its stake to
60%.
LOTTOMATICA LTMC.MI
The Italian gambling company will explore opportunities for
small domestic acquisitions this year and is also looking at
potential deals in Europe with the aim of creating a "multi
country European player," CEO Guglielmo Angelozzi said in an
interview with ClassCNBC republished by MilanoFinanza on Friday.

Melfi plant with Industry Minister Adolfo Urso, representatives
