POLITICS Italy has received requests for air defence and anti-drone systems from Gulf countries caught up in the conflict between Iran, Israel and the United States, Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said on Monday. ECONOMY ISTAT releases February CPI flash data (1000 GMT). DEBT Treasury continues offer of six-year bonds 'BTP Valore' due March 10, 2032 for the retail market; ends on March 6, unless early closure. Italy posted a state sector budget deficit of 13.5 billion euros in February down from a deficit of 18.656 billion euros in the same month of last year, the Treasury said on Monday. COMPANIES STELLANTIS STLAM.MI New car registrations in Italy rose in February by 14% year-on-year, and Stellantis outperformed the market with a 27.2% jump, the transport ministry said on Monday. (*) The carmaker said on Monday its board had nominated Danone deputy CEO Juergen Esser as an additional non-executive director for election at its annual general meeting on April 14. (*) STMICROELECTRONICS STMMI.MI The chipmaker will invest 6.1 billion euros in its Agrate Brianza facility in northern Italy from 2018 to 2034, Il Sole 24 Ore reported on Tuesday, citing details from a meeting between company representatives, Italy's industry ministry and trade unions. LOTTOMATICA LTMC.MI (*) The Italian betting firm forecast on Tuesday 2026 adjusted core earnings (EBITDA) of 940 million euros to 980 million euros, above last year's 856 million euros. (*) FERRETTI YACHT.MI KKCG Maritime said on Monday its bid for the yacht maker would start on March 16 and end on April 13. The bidder aims to raise its stake in Ferretti to 29.9% from 14.5% and has offered 3.5 euros per share. AEFFE AEF.MI The ailing fashion group, which owns the Alberta Ferretti, Moschino and Pollini brands, is looking to select a potential buyer by end-May, Italy's industry ministry said on Monday.
