** Shares of building materials company Louisiana-Pacific
Corp  LPX.N  jump 10.4% to $65 premarket 
    ** Stock is set to open at its highest in more than three
months if gains hold
    ** Warren Buffett-led Berkshire Hathaway Inc  BRKa.N  said
in a regulatory filing on Monday that it has bought LPX shares

    ** LPX Q3 adj. profit beat estimates earlier this month,
helping its shares climb
    ** Up to last close, stock had fallen 24.8% YTD
