Lowe's beats quarterly sales estimates
Feb 25 (Reuters) - Lowe's Cos LOW.N topped Wall Street estimates for fourth-quarter sales on Wednesday, helped by steady demand from professional builders that cushioned muted do-it-yourself spending. Same-store sales at the home improvement retailer rose 1.3% in the quarter ended January 30, beating analysts' average estimate of a 0.4% growth, according to data compiled by LSEG.
